Eleven orphans aged between 9 and 15 years from the village of Kabubbu in Uganda visited the Eastbourne area in mid-December as ambassadors to say "Thank you" on behalf of the 400 Kabubbu orphans supported through Quicken Trust by UK sponsors. It was the first time many had travelled further than 3 miles from Kabubbu. Everything was new – flying, TV, taking a shower, using a toothbrush, the food – and it was so cold!
