Photocopying Non-Music Publications at Church

Licence: The Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA) Church Licence

Through an agency agreement with the Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA), CCLI is able to offer a licence which permits you to photocopy directly from non-music books and magazines for use in your church activities.

With the CLA you can:

• Photocopy articles from magazines about evangelism, worship, health and safety, etc, and distribute them to your leaders.
• Photocopy pages from study books for teaching and training within cell/home groups.
• Photocopy games and puzzles and distribute amongst your children's and youth groups.
• Photocopy drama scripts in order to rehearse your Easter or Christmas presentations, or for drama groups generaly.
• Photocopy quizzes for your social activities.

There may be some occassions when a CLA Church Licence is not required, and we recommend that you check CLA's excluded works list, available here.

Licence Fees:

Licence fees are based on the average aggregate attendance at your main service.

Using Your CLA:

• Reporting - Under the Terms of Agreement of your licence you are also required to report which publications you photocopy from. Click here for CopyReport.

• Contact Details - As your licence is held by your church you are required to provide CCLI with contact details so we can contact you with updates to your licence.
